Prague is capital and the largest city of the Czech Republic. It is situated on the river Vltava almost in central Bohemia. The official name of Prague is Hlavní město Praha, which means Capital city Prague.

Prague has been political, cultural and economical center for more than thousand years. It was a home for Czech kings, Roman emperors and also a capital city of Czechoslovakia. Prague has now population about 1.2 million people with area of 496 square km.

Prague is known as a one of Europe's most beautiful city, with unique Prague Castle Hradčadny, the largest castle complex in the world. Since 1992 the historic centre of Prague has been listed in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
